A place to Call home
Maddy yawned as Toby rushed through his house holding her showing her every room in it. Pewdie had already left for his hotel. It was really late and the poor girl just wanted to sleep "Uncle Toby I tired." She mumbled laying her head on his shoulder. Toby stopped when he heard her and smiled.
"Okay let's get you to bed then." He said starting for the guest room. He tried laying her in the over sized bed but the young girl clung to his shirt.
"I don't want to sleep alone." She whined. Toby chuckled standing back up and heading into his bedroom. He laid down still holding Maddy and wrapped the blankets around the both of them. Maddy's thumb snaked its way up to her mouth and her other hand held a piece of Toby's shirt tightly in a small fist. Soon the two were sleeping peacefully.
~Time Skip to the morning~
Maddy woke up to the smell of breakfast and the sound of people talking. She slowly slipped out of bed, and made her way to the kitchen. There were four people in the kitchen. Toby was at the stove cooking, Felix was talking with some girl and there was another brunette sitting at the table who had a mask on. Maddy quietly created into the room and over to Toby grabbing hold of his pant leg.
"AHH!!" He yelled looking down. "Oh it's just you Cutecutecute~! Good morning! I'm making breakfast if you're hungry!" Toby exclaimed happily. Maddy nodded and as if on cue her stomach growled. Toby laughed patting her head.
"It will be ready in a few minutes. Why don't you go talk to the others." Toby suggested before going back to paying attention to the food.
Maddy looked around the room and her eyes landed on the woman with Felix. She walked over to the two and tugged on Pewdie's pant leg.
"Hmm?" Pewds looked down and smiled brightly. "How's it goin bro?" He asked picking the little girl up.
"She's pretty" Maddy stated pointing to the lady, who smiled at her.
"That is my girlfriend Marzia and she is very pretty~!" Pewdie said smirking. Marzia giggled.
"She's so sweet and adorable!!" Marzia cooed petting the young girls head. Maddy smiled then turned to look at the brunette with the mask. He wasn't paying attention just starring into the black abyss in his cup. Pewdie noticed her starring.
"Do you wanna go meet him?" He asked. Maddy nodded eagerly smiling.
"Yeah!!" She yelled enthusiastically. Pewds smiled quietly walking up behind his friend.
"HEY CRY!!!" He shouted dropping Maddy into the startled mans lap causing the girl to scream and cling to Cry.
"Pewdie!!" Marzia yelled in a stern tone crossing her arms.
"Pewds! What is wrong with you!?!"
Cry shouted glaring up at his friend.
"What?" Felix questioned innocently.
"You can't just throw a kid into someone's lap!" He yelled looking back down at the still terrified child clinging to him unsure of how to handle the situation. "I-it's okay?" He said in more of a question rather than a statement.
"Bro that is not gonna make her feel better." Pewdie stated
"Shut up! I've never dealt with children before!" Cry huffed rubbing Maddy's back. "Just ignore the stupid blonde he's just trying to get attention." Cry stated causing Maddy to giggle.
"Hey! Look I made her feel better! I actually made the kid laugh!" He said happily looking up at Pewds, who chuckled.
"Breakfast is ready!" Toby shouted grabbing some plates, and quickly piling them with food.
Maddy clapped her hands excitedly.
"Yay!" She cheered. Toby smiled setting the plates on the table.
"Come on, Cutecutecute." He said picking Maddy up and setting her in her own chair. He then pulled a plate in front of her. "Dig in you little nugget." He ruffled her hair before sitting down himself. Marzia and Felix slowly migrated to the table and began eating.
They all were thinking the same thing.
"This was going to be a long day."
